Law School Is Expensive
Getting a law degree, however, is expensive. It can cost $100,000 or more. That's more than most students can afford to pay on their own. As a result, more than 94% reported borrowing at least some money last year to attend law school, where annual tuition averages more than $25,000. But borrowing is not the only way to pay for a law degree. There are hundreds of fellowships, grants, awards, and other types of funding opportunities, representing millions of dollars, also available.
